Points North is pleased to announce that in April, we turn 7 years old. In human years, that’s the age in which a child can start to really have an opinion and be relied on for some basic responsibilities. I’ve always joked that my business is my child. I was excited when it was out of the whole diapers phase and have photos of its first steps. I’ve also cleaned up my fair share of messes and have witnessed a temper tantrum or two.
As business owners, we all have complicated days and days that breeze by. Don’t let anyone tell you that owning a business isn’t a lot of work. It can keep you up more nights than you care to remember, may introduce you to more wine than you thought you’d drink, and could also give you a grey hair or two (but who’s counting, really?).
Owing a business also gives me a sense of pride that I’m doing what I love and helping others along the way. Here at Points North, we love our work and we love giving back to our community. I want to thank everyone that has been a part of our journey, near and far. We wouldn’t be here without you. Cheers to Seven Years Strong.
